REFUNDS
We DO NOT offer refunds of any kind. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your service, please notify Us within 7 days of your appointment.
CANCELLED OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Your appointments are very important to the Our staff at Hair Ambition. They are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel or make changes to your appointment less than 24 hours in advance you can possibly be charged cancellation fee of the service(s) originally scheduled, which could be 50% of your services Your stylist may choose to take a deposit to secure future appointments. If this is a recurring issue your stylist may refuse to provide you with future services.
NO CALL/NO SHOWS
If you do not call/text to cancel/reschedule and do not show up on the scheduled date and time of your appointment you will be charged 50% of the service(s) originally scheduled.
LATE POLICY
We offer a 15 Minute grace period for your appointment. Any time after that, we may have to reschedule or cancel your appointment due to timing. We strive to be on time for other clients and respect their appointments. In any case, we will try our best do accommodate your appointment to move to further time when available or have your services taken care of by a stylist that is available.
CREDIT CARD REQUIRED
A credit card is require to be kept on file to schedule any appointment. We require at least 24 hours notice to CANCEL OR MAKE ANY CHANGES to an appointment. In the case that 24 hours notice is not given for a cancellation/rescheduling, you may be required to leave a deposit for your next appointment up to 100% plus you will loose your deposit initially left. NO CALL/NO SHOWS will be charged 50% of the service that was scheduled.
CONFIRMATION TEXTS/EMAILS
As a courtesy, 24 hours prior to your appointment you will receive a confirmation text and/or Email that you do not have to reply to if you have opted in for our texting and email services. However, if you do request we can also give you a courtesy call the day before your appointment.
TIMING YOUR APPOINTMENTS
Please allow plenty of time for your appointment. We want to you to truly enjoy your visit and look forward to coming to the salon. Often large hair appointments can last 2-3+ hours for a color, balayage, highlight, keratin, or perms. If you have any concerns regarding duration of appointments, please feel free to contact the salon or consult with your stylist in advance.
PRICING FOR SERVICES
Services vary in price depending on length of hair, thickness of hair, time required and products involved. A consultation is required for any new clients requesting large color services to go over pricing and timing.
BALAYAGE/BLONDING SERVICES/COLOR CORRECTIONS ON NEW CLIENTS
CONSULTATIONS ARE REQUIRED for new clients, as well as previous history of color and chemical services weather at another salon or home. consultations are $25 and will be applied to the services you book. This deposit can be refunded if you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your appointment. Any cancellations less than that results in a lost deposit. Any no show/ no call to these appointments will result is 50% charge of services booked.
CONSULTATIONS, COLOR CORRECTIONS & COLOR CORRECTION WAIVER
The following information is important to know if you are a client receiving a color/chemical service:
Color history and the use of medications must be spoken when consulting with your stylist. If you are currently under the care of an MD, it is your responsibility to research if color services are compatible with any prescription or treatment. Your stylist is not a trained medical physician.
A color correction waiver MUST BE SIGNED before your color correction appointment begins. You can choose to print and sign at home to bring with you on the day of your appointment or you can sign here at the salon before your appointment begins. If you do not sign, the services will not be performed.
Below is a list of items to address with your colorist prior to your appointment - as these items may cause negative chemical reactions to the hair when mixed with salon chemicals services.
previously over-processed hair: by repeatedly layering dyes over porous pre-lightened hair
taking prescription medication: that inadvertently alters the bonds of the hair (methotrexate, sulfa based medications)
thermal damage: by over-use of hot tools
use of metallic dyes, salts, or minerals: (box color) or use of "over mineralized well water" chemicals may cause negative reaction to enlightenment services
use of henna or vegetable dyes: chemicals may cause negative reaction to enlightenment services
permed or relaxed hair: chemicals may cause negative reaction to enlightenment services
**IT IS OUR PRIORITY TO CONDUCT THOROUGH CONSULTATIONS FOR ALL SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SALON, HOWEVER IT IS EACH CLIENT'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR HAIR HISTORY AND TO RESEARCH THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE HAIR AS A RESULT OF FALSE INFORMATION DURING THE CONSULTATION IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STYLIST.**
EXTENSIONS
We are proud to utilize only the finest quality extensions on the market to add volume, length, or color work to your hair. We offer tape ins and keratin bonds. Extensions can be worn long term (with regular maintenance appointments, usually ranging about 4-6 weeks). If you are considering extensions, we would be happy to provide you a consultation.
WI-FI AVAILABLE
Yes, we have WiFi! Please feel free to bring your device, tablet, iPad or laptop with you to your appointment. We ask that all devices be used on “silent” or with headphones to ensure a relaxing experience for all our clients.
